Why do 10-step

programs exist?

The 10-step programs are the result of a two-pronged approach: my practice in hypnosis and my academic research.

I am currently pursuing a master's degree in religious studies, a path that is clearly leading to a doctorate. These studies have profoundly transformed the way I view human beings. They have not only given me knowledge, but also a more refined ability to perceive what is going on inside people, through stories, spiritual traditions, transformative experiences, and universal human mechanisms.

This journey has confirmed one essential thing for me: modern human beings are often disconnected from themselves. Cut off from their feelings, their bodies, and their inner rhythm, they function based on protective mechanisms and what is called a “map of the world.” When a person speaks, they say what they can say, what they are emotionally capable of tolerating, without putting themselves in danger internally. Speech protects, but it does not accurately reflect what is happening deep down.

It was from this observation that my approach became clearer.

I no longer seek to make the person talk, but rather to connect with themselves without having to say what they don't want to say, but to become aware of it in their own world.

I have developed what I call nonverbal accompanied hypnosis, an approach that respects the person's inner intelligence.

In this approach, the individual does not need to tell everything; they tell what they want to tell.

They know their own story and their beliefs. Their inner system already knows what needs to be adjusted in relation to their beliefs. Accompanied nonverbal hypnosis allows us to act directly on limiting beliefs, automatic behaviors, and blockages, without forcing verbalization or delving into stories that can sometimes be difficult to bear and are not necessary to free oneself from various beliefs.

The 10-step programs were born from this vision:

a simple, humane, and respectful structure that accompanies the person step by step from their present state to a state that is more aligned, freer, and more consistent with themselves.

There are different 10-step programs with the same basic structure, such as:
